Ana Maria Polo personal life

Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez, a Cuban/American TV arbitrator with Caso Cerrado, is the anchor of Ana Polo Rules. Ana was raised in Havana, Cuba. She moved to Miami along with her family at age two after moving out of Havana. Born in Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is the host of the prestigious Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" which was the first Spanish show to be nominated a Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award, and in 2015 ranked as the number one Spanish-language program at 4pm across the key demos. Polo was born April 11 on 1959 in Havana, Cuba and went into Florida International University, where she received a diploma in politics and sciences. After obtaining her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. Thereafter, she obtained the PhD in Law from the University of Miami. Polo first appeared on television in 2001 on Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. She took part in court shows that tapped into her experience. Literary Works and Accolades in 1958, she wrote the book Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children) in which she won the Critic's Prize and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute emigrated to the United States after leaving Spain in the year 1960. Polo is a breast cancer survivor who frequently raises money for this charity and also speaks at various events. Polo has been a vocal advocate for LGBT rights throughout her career. She received her law degree in 1987 at the University of Miami School of Law.
